ISS has a long history in the Well Control Business.  Since the mid 1970’s, Jack Hardy (the President and founder of ISS), and other key employees in the Company have been involved in the Well Control business.  From doing all the snubbing work on Well Control jobs for the Red Adair Company (1974-1978), to a 5 year period of working directly for Red Adair Company (1978-1982), (in charge of all snubbing operations), Jack and a core group of experienced ISS people have been developing equipment and procedures used to control wells where other options have not been applicable.  The custom built equipment that ISS maintains exclusively for well control work (the only Company that does so), has been designed to handle the extreme conditions encountered in remote locations around the world, and hazardous well conditions.   

 Along with these Rigs, ISS have three substructures for use on Well Control work when the integrity of the wellhead is in question.

Since the purchase of ISS by The Superior Group, along with our Sister Company, Wild Well Control, ISS is in a position to supply all the personnel and equipment required on the most difficult Well Control situations, whether on land, off platforms, on mobile drilling units, or off Superior Jack Up Vessels.
